Some people love to go shopping. I love to travel. And while there's nothing wrong with London or Paris, I am fascinated most by the places that aren't on the radar of the typical American tourist. Places where visitors elicit curiosity from locals. Places where English is hardly spoken, where the food includes something you've never tried back home, and where other tourists are not necessarily a common sight.

When it comes to spending money, I tend to be cheap - er, frugal. That's not to say that I'll shy away from doing what I really want because it may cost a bit more, but I do believe that many amazing experiences can be had without breaking the bank. Travel isn't just for the wealthy!

I created this blog in November 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, as I found myself with a lot of time on my hands and decided to document my experiences to share with others. I hope that my blog can be a fun escape from being stuck at home, or perhaps my experiences will help you plan your own trip! I'll be adding posts about previous journeys, and moving forward I'll add more as I continue to travel. Feel free to leave a comment or send me a message if you'd like to know more details about a specific place.

Cheers!
